Life Education WA is a community-based, independent organisation at the front line of positive and preventative drug and health education. Approximately 17,072 children take part in our program each year. Helping young people make informed decisions about drugs and their health is at the heart of the program, which is driven by the popular Life Education mascot Harold the giraffe. Rottnest Channel Swim
In 9 hours and 3 minutes, Clare Payne achieved another personal goal by swimming in the 2011 Rottnest Channel Swim.
Clare Payne, a National Board Member of Life Education Australia, travelled from Sydney to Perth to compete in this unique Ocean Swimming Event on 26th February, 2011. The swim started on Cottesloe Beach at 5.30am and finished on Rottnest Island some 12 hours later.
